Bohuslän in July

Me and Jocke went up to Bohuslän last week for some bouldering.
The first stop were RAMSVIKSLANDET, now days a island divided from the mainland by a manmade channel.

I had written out some sattelitephotos of the northern part of the island. We started to walk north to were we thaught the boulderarea was. The hiking was tough with all the camera equipment and pads, gear etc...
We finally put down the gear and started to look for the stones. We run everywere but not the blocks anywere. Jocke took a really loooong hike around the northern tip of the island. I headed for the gear. When I looked at the maps again I saw that we had parked at the wrong parkingplace. The area were south of us all the time. So we had to go back. To the car again. Some food and then go to the blocks.
As the time now were really late and we were very tired we didn´t climb. We put up our tents on a shelf above all the blocks.
Nice evning with BBQ. To the north we saw a big thunderstorm, with flashes.
Next morning we found some nice problems. There are many blocks here and some walls. But a lot of the blocks are very high or blank.
The rock is granite like the one at Fiskebäcksvik and Sivik but a little bit looser.
The blockarea is close to the sea so nice views all the time.
We decided that we wanted to go to HAMBURGÖ, a day at Ramsvikslandet were enough this time.

Hamburgö is also a Island. The ferry out takes 2 minutes.
We found a nice campingspot just next to the sea.
The problems at Hamburgö is nice and ok graded. We did some classic ones this 2 days we were here.
We also looked after new lines and there are a lot of new problems to do.
Jocke found a stone with a perverse roof. We he almost were on the topout it started to rain.
We went to the KING-roof. Here it was dry. The KING is a project that is <7c+ something. I found a fun line that starts right of The KING and traverses right to left and passes The King. Many moves, steep. The sitstart makes it hard. Standing start maybe 6c+/7a...sit 7a+/7b.
Finally the weather got worse and we headed to our tents.
I did a fire ti dry my clotes some. Then the raind got worse. So the night we spent in our tents. Humid and nice.
All night it rained. Next morning it still rained. There were a stream with water that went through our camp. Jockes tent got really wet but my was ok.
So we decided to go home. Some days to early. But shit happens.
It rained all the way home.
But we got a nice trip wit a lot of sun before the rain, good climbing, nice food etc....
